We are offering a reclaimed genuine Victorian lamp post and lantern for sale. This lamp post originates from the Oxford area and has been a garden feature in our property. It is over 3metres tall. We are doing reconstruction work on our house so we have chosen to sell this ‘Lucy’ lamppost.

The lamp is in good condition, except for some damage to one of the panes in the lantern when it was removed from the ground. It is now ready for collection by the purchaser but as it is very heavy it will require either a machine or lots of people to lift it.

The lamppost has the words Oxford Corporation on one side and Dean and Son on the other which indicate that it will have come from a period after 1869.
This is a genuine one off opportunity to purchase a bit of historic Oxfordshire!
