This beautifully proportioned copper version of our bestselling Kensington Lamp Post set will certainly add style to your exterior!

The ‘Kensington’ line takes inspiration from the original Victorian gas lamps first used in London during the early 19th century and is ideally suited for gardens or as a centre feature within your driveway, ideal for positioning within a flower bed or within landscaped gardens.

Our polished lamp post has been crafted from robust iron, and the gleaming lantern head has been hand-crafted in pure copper, which has been coated with a hardy stove lacquer. If you would like more information on our copper ageing process, click here.

In terms of running costs, there are many options now available, such as energy-efficient LEDs.
An example of the costs involved with leaving your lamp post on each evening. A 6watt LED bulb will have the same output as a traditional 60watt incandescent bulb, however, the running costs are only a tenth by comparison. This means leaving your lamp post on for 10 hours each evening will have an approximate running cost of only 5.1 pence per week or £2.65 per year.
Typically, if multiple lamp posts are required, ie. for a length of driveway or larger areas of garden, the normal spacing which is most aesthetically pleasing is between 10 – 15 metres.
