Our polished ‘Kensington’ line is certainly one of a kind with its supreme finish and outlandish height!

It stands at just over 7ft tall and has been crafted in cast iron, with its base being embossed with a signature Victorian motif to provide some traditional charm.

The signal black post has been beautifully brought together with a pure brass lantern, which has been shaped by hand, highly polished and coated in a light lacquer to help protect it from the ever changing elements.

The fetching design is ideal for driveways and gardens, and coupled with a 60-watt output bulb in a warm white tone, it will provide ambient light coverage for between 10ft and 20ft.

Its design is completed with floral edges on every corner and a three-tier finale to add to the allure of this charming design and it has been led together with four clear panes which offer excellent illumination.

Also, we suggest that the lamp post be installed, tested, and certified by a qualified tradesperson who may make product adaptations where required.

Delivery

During this busy time, we make our best efforts to dispatch all orders, including those with Free Next Day Delivery, in time, but this is not always possible. Please note that the couriers can also experience slight delays due to the large influx of deliveries at this time of year.

We may rely on local works to supply or create certain items, and this can at times, cause unexpected delays which are outside of our control. Any potential delay will be advertised with an approximate lead time on our website. Failing this, our customer service team will be in touch at the earliest opportunity to advise on any delays or alternatives that are immediately available.

Everything you need to know
How much does it cost to run a lamp post in your garden?

Typically, if running an energy efficient 6watt LED bulb for 10 hours per day, the running cost would be approximately £2.65 per year.

Do I require planning permission to install a Lamp Post in my garden?

Generally, this lamp post would be classed as a 'minor domestic light fitting' and would not require planning permission. Generally speaking, lamp posts are designed to deflect light downwards in order to avoid neighbour disturbance. Where lamp posts are fitted with PIR motion detectors, it's important to make sure they are not continuously triggered by bushes or trees, which may cause a nuisance. Where in doubt, just contact your local planning office.

Does this lamp post have to be attached to mains electricity?

Yes, this lamp post is designed to be connected to a mains supply, which is normally run via armoured cable by an electrician. The installation process is very straightforward for any tradesperson.

Who installs garden lamp posts?

Most electricians will complete both the base and the electrical work.
