Having first been created for horse-drawn carriages, this industrial lantern is very multi-functional. 

They were first invented for nigh time travel, but as the years have progressed, they have been adapted for industrial and household use. 

This chain lantern is hung from a dependable chain which connects to a two-tier lamp shade, which can be purchased in a verdigris, antique brass or nickel finishes.
