The pillar base features a square plate to ensure it has stability when placed in the garden. The central section of the pillar possesses an ornate twist to enhance its period charm. 

The apex of the design is full of ornate detailing, such as the acanthus leaf design around the neck of the pillar. The concept originates from ancient Greece, where they used it to create a dynamic and flowing style for columns. 

Just before the apex of the bronze column is an ornate swirl and embossed motif on all four sides of the pillar, to complete its highly decorated design. The cast aluminium pillar is great for adding height to your sundial and providing a sturdy place to allow your pillar light to shine. 

As it has been crafted from premium materials, it can also withstand the wintery months. You can also find the design in cream and verdigris finishes.
