Our long awaited release of the Dorchester Traditional Lamp Posts has finally arrived. We’ve dedicated years to the perfection of this authentically traditional lamp post set, using our bespoke antique brass finish we have perfected the reproduction process using our vintage lighting experts eye for design and chic style.

The Dorchester has a clean style bringing together the best of both the Victorian and more Gothic lantern styles. For those looking for something a little more subtle, the Dorchester lantern is also available in a more traditional black finish. Each Dorchester lantern is mounted on a heavy duty, high detail cast iron lamp post. Please do not confuse these with fragile cast aluminium replicas, these lamp posts weight alone is proof of the authentic quality and density of materials used to manufacture these age old traditional garden lights.

The Dorchester lantern is sleek and stylish in design giving a contemporary alternative to the Victorian and Gothic designs which dominate the eye line in the UK. To celebrate the release of the Dorchester we've developed it's own unique finish, "antique brass". Chic and subtle offering a unique alternative to copper or Matt black.

The medium traditional dorchester lamppost is subtle in its delicate design but its size is still large enough to bring grandure to any outside space. The medium traditional dorchester lamp post is available in black or antique brass, the latter being the more striking of the two. Each lantern is supplied with a free brass bulb holder for ease of installation when your lamp post arrives.

If you have an especially large frontage or garden and would like a lamp post which complements its size, our large traditional lamp post standing over 3.4 meters tall is in a class of its own. Firstly the base and ladder bars are manufactured from a high grade cast iron, forged using tradional methods by our mastercraftsman with decades of experience. The lamp post core is a hollow centre section made from a single piece of thick rolled steel. After the metal components are formed they are treated by our powder coated process, which creates the attractive finish and provides a protective coating to the metal.

The traditional dorchester lamp post is available in period black and antique brass, which almost gives a caramel effect. The lanterns are formed by our master sheet metal workers and supplied unwired with a free brass bulb holder and free delivery.
